History of the Kennel

Our kennel is recent, having started in 2005 when we bought "Santo" (Quellesieger Mc Murfee Santo - son of Lazydee Wrinkled Eyes and the champion Tomarctus Mc Murfee). I woke up that day and I decided that I wanted to have a Shar Pei. I looked for it in many sites, and drove my husband almost crazy, until we decided to buy.

I was enamoured to a pretty puppy, but the breeder who, today is my friend and "master" in Shar Peis did not want to sell it to me. Therefore he intended to have it in his own kennel as a future stud. We talked a lot and I insisted in such a way that he yelded. My baby arrived on April, 8th 2005. It was the prettiest dog that I had ever seen. We started to develop an enormous admiration for this loving and intelligent race. We always had dogs, but this is a very special race.

Unfortunately Santo died from an anesthesia error in a simple eye surgery. Santo was gone, but its memory, despite so little time of living, made us acquire more exemplars and register the kennel with the intention to propagate this wonderful and little known race, although the oldest that we have historical notice. Our commitment is with ethics in breeding, aiming at the formation of champions.
